President Moulton

This picture didn't post for some reason... so here ya go! He's awesome!

Hill Cumorah Pageant

We had a YSA trip to Palmyra, NY again this year. I was not able to go to the temple because my recommend was not signed... I had to get a new one because I was Brother Baine... which we all know is not true! It was a great trip.
When we first arrived, we chose to stay at Hill Cumorah
for the first hour and a half. Last year, I was not able to go to the top of the hill because I went to the temple grounds instead. So, first thing this year, I went to the top. I had no idea that the pathway up was so steep!

Then we went into town to the publishing company. I learned where mind your Ps and Qs came from! I could not imagine having to place every single letter into place to print a book! On top of that, the pages were backwards!
The last place I went, was to the sacred grove. I must not have been in a picture taking mood because I did not take any pictures here, except for the temple.
Right before the pageant was about to start, a friend wanted to get pizza so I said I would go with him. As we were walking out of our isle, I saw a lady and asked where she was from. She was looking at me trying to figure out if she knew me... so I asked, "Ohio?" She said, "Yes." So, I asked, "Athens?" To this, she also replied yes. I then told her who I was. She is the wife of the branch president in Athens, where I was an investigator. She is also a choreographer for the pageant. Shortly after this, her husband walked over and we had a short discussion. Everyone was scrambling because the pageant was about to start. He asked if I knew a guy from the Athen's Branch but I didn't. He then asked if I wanted to marry him, to which I replied, what? He then asked if I was married and since I
am not he decided I needed to meet him! Don't forget, the pageant about to start! One of the guys in the pageant told me, in two seconds you're going to be a part of the pageant! So, President Moulton went to get into position and I took my seat. I was excited to see him!!
Like always, the pageant was amazing and it was a wonderful trip!

Kirtland Temple

I completely forgot to post about going to the Kirtland Temple! While I was at my aunts, I wanted to take a trip to Kirtland to see the temple. I've been to Kirtland plenty of times but never knew about the church. I actually think, I use to wonder what the building was. I could be wrong and it may be a different building... Anyways, it was a good experience and I learned a lot about the building.
Of course, the blogs about randomness, I write a book and the blogs about important things, I write a few sentences.

My cousin, Stephanie, had twins last month and I took a trip to see them! They are adorable! I was also able to see my cousin Jennifer's baby Troy. He's 6 months and also adorable!

Trip to VA and DC

I decided to take a trip to visit Kellie and go to the DC temple. It was a great trip and the DC temple is beautiful!

Summer is Here!

It finally stopped raining and we were able to get some time in the sun! Ali, Gabby, Gab, Ethan and I all went to the Carter's to go swimming! Ethan had never been in a big pool before and after he got use to it, he LOVED it!  This was also perfect because camp started the following Monday and he wasn't scared to get in their pool. I think Ethan's new favorite game is Marco Polo!
I bought a couple slip n' slides because I know I loved them when I was a kid! Unfortunately, one broke before we were
even able to use it! All in all, they had a lot of fun and I enjoyed laying in the sun!

Raspberry Picking and Jam Making

A few of the ladies from church took their kids to pick berries. Ethan had two weeks off between school and camp so we also were able to join in on the fun! We ended up picking raspberries and then buying some really yummy donuts! Terhune Orchard's also has a small petting zoo and other things for the kids to play with.
Since we had the raspberries, one of the ladies suggested we make jam. So, the next day, we went over to her house and made several types! We ended up making quite a bit. We made, raspberry peach, strawberry, strawberry blueberry and blueberry. The kids even had a great time playing while we
made the jam! Ethan had a great time and even talked with Paul! That makes the day in and of itself!

Endowed

Back in June, on the 13th, I received my endowments! 13 is my favorite number so it was a perfect day! I received them in the Manhattan, NY Temple. Ali Hunter was my escort. I must say, I am very thankful for the blessings in my life and being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
